Wildlife

My connection to wildlife began early, shaped by summers spent living on a game farm in the interior of British Columbia, surrounded by animals most people only encounter at a distance. I drew, painted, and worked alongside them at close range often literally hands on. Those experiences defined how I approach my work. These paintings aim to capture real moments in an animal’s own environment, quiet and unforced, without spectacle, just presence.
